GRINDMOTHER is a 68 year-old Canadian grandmother, who fronts her own grindcore band! You have to see this to believe it. The band, which includes her son Rainforest on guitar, and Tyson Apex on drums, released their debut album "Age of Destruction" in May 2016. The effort has been well-received by the metal community and media alike, with music videos racking up millions of views and being aired on countless TV shows. The band is currently preparing for live performances and plan to begin playing dates in late 2016.
