Aenimus
Aenimus hails from the birthplace of Thrash and the legendary Circle Pit...the Bay Area in Northern California and is signed to Nuclear Blast Records. The band's debut full length album, Transcend Reality, was recorded, mixed, and mastered by producer/engineer Nick Botelho (Deadly Remains, Hatchet, The Kennedy Veil) at NB Recording in Santa Rosa, CA. The album contains 13 tracks and features a guest vocal performance from Eddie Hermida (All
Shall Perish) on the track "Heavy Lies the Crown." Transcend Reality was released independently on August 6, 2013.
Aenimus spent the next two years relentlessly touring off of their debut album Transcend Reality with band such as Rings of Saturn, I Declare War, Arsonists Get All The Girls and many more.
After a long tour cycle, covering most markets in the US, the band decided to take the next two years off from touring to write and record their Sophomore album Dreamcatcher.
Dreamcatcher is a 11 song concept album based off of the horror novels and movies, It, The Shining, Hannibal Lecter, and The Dead Zone. The album features guest appearances from Mike Semesky (Intervals, The HAARP Machine), Jamie Hanks (I Declare War), Brian James (Fallujah) Sims Cashion and Leonardo Guzman and was mixed and mastered by Jamie King (BTBAM, The Contortionist).
The bands idea behind the album was to portray the several emotions of characters throughout the stories with a very thematic approach to the writing style.
